Returns Policy

This policy applies in addition to your statutory right of withdrawal (herroepingsrecht) as set out in our Terms of Service.
Hygiene Products – Important Notice
All SleepCurl products are personal hygiene items that come in contact with your hair and skin. For health and hygiene reasons, all products are delivered in sealed protective packaging. Once this hygiene seal has been broken or the product has been removed from its original sealed packaging, the product is no longer eligible for return or refund.
This is in accordance with Article 16(e) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive and equivalent UK consumer regulations, which exempt sealed goods that are unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once they have been unsealed after delivery.
Return Window
You may return your item within 30 days of delivery, provided the product remains in its original, unopened, and sealed packaging.
Condition of Returns
Returned items must be in their original, sealed, and unopened packaging, free from any signs of use or tampering, and include all original packaging materials. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete, you must contact us at info@sleepcurl.com within 14 days of delivery, including clear photos of the issue. Claims submitted after 14 days will be reviewed at our discretion.
Please note: damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper care, misuse, accidental damage, or external factors is not considered a manufacturing defect. This does not affect your statutory rights where a lack of conformity existed at the time of delivery.
The hygiene exception does not apply to faulty or defective products. If your product arrived defective, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund regardless of whether the packaging has been opened.
Return Process
To initiate a return, please contact info@sleepcurl.com with your order number. If your return is approved, we will provide you with a return label and further instructions on how to send your item back. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
Return Shipping Costs
Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, a flat return shipping fee of £5.00 applies. This fee will be deducted from your refund. We will provide you with a prepaid return label once your return has been approved.
For faulty or incorrect items, return shipping is free of charge.
Refunds
Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus the £5.00 return shipping fee where applicable. Original shipping costs (if applicable) are non-refundable.
Exchanges
We offer exchanges subject to availability. If your requested item is unavailable at the time your return is processed, a refund will be issued instead. If you are returning an item that has previously been exchanged, it will be eligible for store credit only.
Final Sale Items
Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Reserved Rights
We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or reject returns in cases of excessive return patterns, returns of opened, used, or unsealed products, suspected fraudulent activity, or items that do not meet the return conditions stated in this policy.
